an Manufacturing at the Wichita Division. As a Product Line Manager on the 737 and 757 Value Streams he worked closely Shingijutsu Consulting of Japan to implement the Toyota Production System and achieve record first pass yield, productivity, and on-time delivery performance.
Since 1999 Mike has played a significant role in the rapid growth of Lean Six Sigma throughout the US Department of Defense at Air Force Material Command, Army Material Command, Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Joint Forces Command, Naval Regional Maintenance Centers Command, and the Joint Strike Fighter Program.
He has mentored Command and Executive Leadership through successful roll-outs at more than 200 locations on four continents including numerous North American Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence recipients. Non-DoD organizations that have looked to Mike for guidance include Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Northrop Grumman, Rockwell Collins, Sikorsky, the NORDAM Group, Cobalt Boats, the U.K. Royal Air Force, the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, Progress Energy, Arrow Energy, OneSteel, Americold, Dyno Nobel, and the State of Kansas.
